As best man you have been working overtime to arrange all the details about the stag do; researching great stag do get-a-ways, working out the guest list, collecting all the money and now it is just the finer details that need to be arranged.
The finer details such as what drinking games you will be playing!
But where do you start?! Luckily help is at hand with our fantastic list of stag do drinking games...
Bruce Forsyth's Play Your Cards Right
You Will Need:
A pack of cards, an empty jug, a group of men armed with drinks.
The Rules:
The stag starts the game by choosing a card from the deck and by pouring a bit of everyone’s drink into the jug to begin with.
The stag then goes around each person offering the deck to them. Each person must guess whether the card about to be drawn is higher or lower than the last card. If they are right, they add some of their drink into the jug. However, if they are wrong they need to drink from the jug - nice!
Truth or Dare
You Will Need:
A group of men who know the stag well, a set of questions about the stag that are neither true or false (that have been prepared before the stag do).
The Rules:
Each of the lads will be asked a truth or dare question about the stag to figure out how well they really know him. If they get the question right then they don’t have to drink, get it wrong and they have to buy the stag a drink, plus drink from their own.
Depending on how tough you want to be, you can line up a row of shots or make the lads down a full drink if they get it wrong. If you are slightly milder then each lad can choose how much drink he consumes each time.
Oxford V Cambridge Boat Races
You Will Need:
A large open space, a competitive group of lads and lots of beer.
The Rules:
Split everyone into two equal groups and sit opposite each other on the floor. Starting at the beginning of the line, each player must down a drink. Once the first person has finished his drink, the next person must start and so forth unill the end of the line.
Whichever team finishes drinking first wins.
Pub Golf
You Will Need:
9 or 18 pubs / clubs and a group of men with a great drinking stamina.
The Rules:
The bars to be visited during the game will be worked out before the event starts and each is numbered. Each bar is also given a par number (ranging from 1 - 5). The par number represents how many gulps it should take to finish the drink in this particular bar.
For example, bar 1 will have a par of 6. If the person finishes his drink in 6 gulps they will be awarded the par. All scores are recorded on a scorecard.
Vary the drinks throughout the night and be reasonable with your par per drink: a shot will normally count as par 1 rather than par 5!
You can get as creative as you wish with Pub Golf, introducing additional rules such as adding points on if someone uses the bathroom whilst the game is in play, spills a drink or cheats.
